Breastfeeding makes sense. It is the only means of infant feeding that provides the complete physical and emotional nutrition your baby needs. But the benefits don't stop with the baby. It bonds the mother and child and creates in other children a healthy and correct attitude toward the female breast, is far less expensive than using artificial milks and much less stressful on every member of the family.

Our midwives and our IBCLC certified Lactation Consultant have the experience and expertise to assist you with your breastfeeding and birthing needs. Nursing Bras
It is quite possible that we have the largest selection of nursing bras in the world - we do not quite know why. We stock over 32 different styles (14 brands) in sizes 32A to 48J. Anything larger may be special ordered.

Aids
You won't need a truck-load of gadgets in order to breastfeed successfully, but some of these items can enhance your breastfeeding experience. Other items are solutions for particular breastfeeding differences and difficulties. Included are: nursing pillows, nursing stools, breast pads, breast shells and shields, feeding systems, skin care products, and much more.

Breast Pumps
We offer a wide variety of breast pumps, from inexpensive manual pumps to hospital grade electric breast pumps. We also carry the new Whittlestone Expresser, a new concept in breast pump design. We have been very impressed with it so far, not only for general use but in cases of flat or inverted nipples as well. For very occasional use, a manual or mini-electric breastpump will usually be fine. Avoid the cheap pumps often sold at drugstores and mass market distributors. They can be difficult and painful to use and are often ineffective, resulting in frustration and weaning. Our breastpump selection is refined from years of experience. Our IBCLC certified lactation consultant offers free e-mail consultations on the proper and effective use of breastpumps purchased from us. If you should chose to buy a breastpump elsewhere, be sure the seller has the knowledge and experience to back up the product.

The baby sling is a great attachment parenting tool for moms and dads. Most babies love the security and closeness they provide. Some kinds are also very useful for breastfeeding on the go. They are much easier to figure out then a front-pack type carrier.

Baby Layette
These are a few of the most useful products we have found that every baby needs. They have to meet my tough standards of being useful, practical, a good value and necessary. A few things get by with just being plain cute!

Skin Care
Our skin is one of the largest organs in our body. It has some very important functions. We need to treat it well to help us stay healthy. Start your baby with a good program to retain and protect that beautiful skin they are born with.

Healthcare
This being a sensitive subject to many parents, especially those with children that rely heavily on some type of medication or another, we had a desire to provide to you some of the best herbal remedies we were able to find. Alternative healing and remedies appeal to more and more people as we learn further of the damaging side effects of many medications. We hope you will be pleased with our choices.
